EWP Safety & Rescue Package: Work Safely at Heights & EWP Escape

Mandatory Training for Safe Elevated Work Platform Operations

For any professional operating an Elevated Work Platform (EWP) or supervising EWP work, your training must cover both prevention and emergency response.

This specialized package combines the foundational Work Safely at Heights certification (which covers harness use and fall prevention) with the practical, high-stakes EWP Escape & Rescue training. This dual certification ensures that not only are you compliant with heights regulations, but you also possess the life-saving skills to rescue an incapacitated worker or execute a controlled emergency descent from an EWP.

Why Choose This EWP Safety Dual Package?

This combination provides the full spectrum of safety required for working from a boom lift:

  • Complete Compliance: Satisfies the common site requirement for a valid Heights ticket while addressing the specific duty of care for EWP emergency retrieval procedures.
  • Integrated Skills: Learn anchor selection and harness use (Heights), then apply that knowledge directly to rescue techniques and controlled descent on an EWP (Rescue).
  • Efficiency and Value: Secure two mandatory certifications that are legally and operationally interlinked, saving time and money compared to booking two separate training sessions.
  • Supervisor Essential: EWP Escape and Rescue is a critical skill for supervisors and designated rescue personnel to ensure regulatory compliance and workplace safety.
