This unit develops a participant’s skills and knowledge required to conduct crushing and screening plant operations in Coal and Metalliferous mining and Extractive.

This unit applies to those working in site- based roles.

Entry Requirements

The participant must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be able to obtain a USI
• Be physically fit and not have any physical conditions

• 1 Day Training & assessment (for experienced operator)
• 3 Days Training & assessment (for non-experienced operator)

• Plan and prepare for crushing and screening operations
• Operate the crushing and screening plant
• Carry out post-operational procedures

Course Outcome

Upon completion of the course, the participant will be issued with a Statement of Attainment in unit RIIPRO301D – Conduct crushing and screening plant operations.

Payments

• For 3 Days course (Non-experienced operator): This course attracts a fee of $750.00 per participant and is GST exempt. These fees cover all ,training, assessment, use of machinery/equipment, stationary (books, pens, use of calculator and resources) and most importantly, the amazing experience. 
• For 1 Day course (experienced operator): This course attracts a fee of $350.00 per participant and is GST exempt. These fees cover all ,training, assessment, use of machinery/equipment, stationary (books, pens, use of calculator and resources) and most importantly, the amazing experience. 

The full course fee must be paid prior to starting date of the course.
