Course Overview

This training program aim to develop candidates knowledge and skills in safely and effectively operate Quad bikes, undertake pre-start checks and shut-down procedures and carry out routine checks and maintanence.

Course Outline

• Quad bike operational hazards
• Basic and periodic maintenence
• Operating Quad bikes with a range of loads attached
• Loading, unloading and securing Quad bikes to a transport vehicle
• Advanced riding techniques using
• Clean up Quad bikes and refuel

Assessment

This program has been designed to assess a person’s competence in accordance which include requirements in the Standards for Registered Training Organisations. The assessment will consist of a simulated environment that accurately reflects performance in a real workplace setting. Assessment must be conducted in a range of riding surface conditions and in a range of terrains appropriate for the safe use of Quad bikes.

Certification

Upon successful completion of this course, each participant will receive a recognised Statement of Attainment for Operating Quad Bikes. This certification is nationally recognized.
