In most cases Yes. We do offer some non-accredited or industry recognised courses. Please refer to the individual course descriptions for details.
The short answer is you are legally obliged to train your staff under the Work Health & Safety Act 2011.
Besides your legal obligations, WHS training is important to help keep you, your employees and your customers safe in your work environment. Safe workplaces have higher morale, better productivity, less cost associated with staff injury and you can even get a reduction in your insurance premiums with correct training, equipment and reporting procedures in place.

You are legally required to provide fire safety training in your workplace under the Work Health & Safety Act 2011.
Preparing your staff to act in an emergency can lead to reduced injuries, higher morale, minimise damage to your workplace in the case of an emergency. It can also potentially save you thousands of dollars in reduced insurance premiums and avoided legal costs.
A USI or Unique Student Identifier a reference number made up of 10 numbers and letters that:
- creates a secure online record of your recognised training and qualifications gained in Australia, even from different training organisations
- will give you access to your training records and transcripts (available in 2016)
- can be accessed online, anytime and anywhere
- is free and easy to create and
- stays with you for life
If you are a new or continuing student undertaking nationally recognised training and course you need a USI in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment. If you don’t have a USI you will not receive your qualification or statement of attainment.
