TLILIC0023 – Licence to operate a slewing mobile crane (up to 60 tonnes)

About the course

This course covers all the requirements for obtaining a national High Risk Work Licence (Class C6) for slewing mobile cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 60 tonnes.

Successfully completing this course will allow you to operate any mobile cranes (up to 60t), any non-slewing crane (such as telehandlers or Franna cranes) and vehicle loading cranes (such as Hiab’s and Palfinger’s) within Australia.

The duration of this course is 5 days and it is conducted at Ingleburn NSW.

Learning Outcome

On completion of the course, participants will have gained the following skills and knowledge to:

• Plan Operations: Hazard management and consultation
• Pre-operational Inspections: Crane and associated equipment
• Set up: Outriggers, crane boom and lifting equipment
• Transfer Loads: Shift loads with slings and mobile loads
• Conclude Operations: Shut down and pack up crane and equipment following site specific procedures

Fees and Charges

This training course is GST exempt.

This course attracts a fee of $1845.00 per participant and is GST-exempt. These fees cover all training, assessment, use of machinery/equipment, stationary (books, pens, use of calculator and resources), whistles (where applicable), and most importantly, the amazing experience.

Certificate

Upon completion of the course, the participant will be issued a Statement of Attainment in the above unit. Statements of Attainment are valuable documents and need to be retained.

Upon completion of the course, the participant will be eligible to obtains a NSW High-Risk Work Licence (Class C6).
