Course Overview

Through the combination of theory and practical training, this course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills required to work safely in confined spaces as per AS/NZS 2865:2009. This training is suitable for employees who are required to enter confined spaces for maintenance or servicing of vessels and tanks

Assessment

The assessment for this programme has been designed to assess a person’s competence in accordance with the Manufacturing Training Package (MSA07), AS2865:2009 and the proprietary requirements of the organisation or workplace. The assessment will consist of both a written and practical component.

Certification

Upon successful completion of this course, each participant will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (National Provider Number 51786)

Duration: It is recommended that this course be conducted with a maximum of 12 participants over a period two days or a maximum of 6 participants over a period of one day. Refresher training can be conducted with a maximum of 10 participants over a period of one day.
