Course Overview

Through the combination of theory and practical training, this course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills required to safely work at height or depth utilising various forms of fall protection. This training is suitable for any personnel required to perform tasks from heights or depths and is compliant to AS/NZS1891.4:2009 Industrial fall-arrest systems and devices. This course complies with the core training & assessment elements for a height safety operator.

Assessment

The assessment for this programme has been designed to assess a person’s competence in accordance with the Resources & Infrastructure Industry Training Package (RII09), any relevant Legislation and the proprietary requirements of the organisation or workplace. The assessment will consist of both a written and practical component.
Certification
Upon successful completion of this course, each participant will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (National Provider Number 51786)
Duration: It is recommended that this course be conducted with a maximum of 10 participants over a period of one day for Initial Training
